    * Please note that gift certificates are not redeemable toward our Santa’s Workshop Experience

  2. When can gift certificates be redeemed?
    Gift certificates can be applied to portrait services January - August.
    Due to our Santa’s Workshop Experience, we are not available for sessions after August 31.
    Please contact us at any time so we may be of assistance with scheduling.

  3. What does securing payment look like?
    After submitting the interest form, a member of our team will be in touch with you. An email invoice will be shared for the desired amount
       • You may secure the $100 deposit required at booking or the value of a package.
       • The email invoice will be shared via Square (*Paypal invoices are available, upon request)
       • You may then secure payment via major credit card, cash, or check
       • To secure the session in full for your designated giftee, please note that VA photography services are subject to 6% sales tax.

  4. Why are photographers subject to sales tax?
    VA photographers are required by law to collect sales tax. Here is a copy & paste of that verbiage, if that would be helpful:
    Title 23 VAC 10-210-2050 states that the tax is applicable “to the total charge to the customer for a photograph, slide, etc., including but not limited to, charges for labor, photocomposition, setting design, photography time, and any other components of the charge regardless of whether such components are separately stated.” And the object of photography is to provide a customer with a photographic image, the sale of which is taxable whether delivered as tangible personal property or as a digital image.
